Samsung SDI reveals curved battery for wearables

Samsung SDI has introduced a curved battery that is made for wearable devices, like its own Gear Fit wristband. The 210mAh cell might seem rather low capacity for a smartphone, but it happens to be the largest capacity battery for a wearable device. At its current size, the battery would allow the Gear Fit to outlast the competition in time between charges. Speaking of competition, Samsung isn't alone in this field as country-mate LG is also producing a curved battery for its LG G Flex smartphone.
