Google's Project Tango tablet powered by Tegra K1, priced at $1024

Late last month, Google was rumored to be working on a tablet that would include the 3D mapping capabilities of its Project Tango smartphone. The latter creates a 3D map of your environment through the use of four on-board cameras including a standard rear-facing 4MP snapper, a fish-eye camera that covers 180 degrees, a front-facing snapper that has a 120 degrees field of vision, and a depth camera shooting 320 x 180.



Google's tablet is now reality, as a tablet development kit will be offered for $1,024. The tablet is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with 4GB of RAM on board, 128GB ...
