Is this the Samsung Galaxy S5 Google Play Edition?

Just like the Galaxy S4 from last year, Samsung’s new Galaxy S5 is expected to have a Google Play Edition. While Samsung and Google haven’t confirmed the handset’s existence yet, the S5 GPE seems to have been caught in the wild recently - and you can zoom in on the image on the left for a closer look at it.



This alleged Galaxy S5 Google Play Edition appears to be of the golden variety, but this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t expect to see the handset in other color versions (like black, white, or blue - the ones that we’re familiar with from the regular S5).
