Motorola announces winner of its Moto 360 watch face design contest

Back at the end of May, Motorola kicked off a contest that asked participants to design an original watch face for its upcoming Moto 360 smartwatch. Based on Google's wearables-focused Android Wear platform, the Moto 360 was finally made official yesterday during Google I/O.

Sporting a circular design instead of the standard rectangle/square that rivals have pretty much exclusively pursued, the Moto 360 was, from the get-go, a pretty interesting smartwatch.
