
Samsung today started pushing out a software update to Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 3 owners. It’s not a major update (we didn’t expect it to be, anyway), but it seems pretty important. Samsung says that the update is being rolled out because its S Finder universal search app “needs emergency updates for security and fundamental error correction.”
It’s not clear if this S Finder update will hit S5 and Note 3 owners around the world, or just in select markets. Samsung has yet to mention what specific problems S Finder is having, but users who are prompted to install the update should nevertheless ...
