Samsung's Quad HD Galaxy S5 LTE-A isn't much more expensive than the regular S5

Earlier this week, when Samsung announced the Galaxy S5 LTE-A, it didn’t say how much the handset would cost. However, The Korea Times reports that the new smartphone will be sold in South Korea for 945,000 won ($926). The original Galaxy S5 costs 866,800 won ($850) there, so the new model isn’t much more expensive.



The Galaxy S5 LTE-A brings several improvements over the regular S5, including a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, a quad-core Snadpragon 805 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, and 3GB of RAM. Of course, there’s also support for LTE Cat 6 (for theoretical network ...
