
Officially unveiled in early June as the world’s first Tizen OS smartphone, the Samsung Z isn’t available to buy at the moment, despite the fact that it was supposed to be released on July 10. Samsung said that the handset’s launch was postponed because Tizen doesn’t provide a full portfolio of applications yet. As you probably know, without a wide range of apps, a smartphone platform may not seem too attractive to users.
According to Samsung, the Z should hit shelves in some markets this quarter anyway. This means that the company hopes to solve the app issue pretty soon.
