HTC One Remix (One mini 2) launches at Verizon on July 24, costs as much as the One M8

Verizon today finally announced the HTC One Remix, a smartphone that first showed up back in May.



The One Remix is nothing more than a renamed HTC One mini 2, so it’s targeted at users who may want some of the features of the One M8 flagship, but in a more compact package.



Sporting a 4.5-inch display with 720 x 1,280 pixels, the HTC One Remix is indeed smaller than the 5-inch One M8. However, it’s significantly larger than other mini smartphones, and that’s because it has HTC’s typical BoomSound dual speakers on the front.
