Microsoft Surface mini allegedly back in production, coming this summer

Microsoft has allegedly resumed production of the Surface mini tablet that it had reportedly suspended earlier, according to @evleaks. The Surface mini is now slated for a release this summer.



We've been hearing about the ‘mini’ version of Microsoft’s Surface tablet for a while - it was originally said to get an official unveiling at Microsoft’s Build conference in the beginning of April, but it was obviously scrapped for unknown reasons. Instead, Microsoft only unveiled a new full-sized, 12-inch Surface Pro 3 tablet at its Build conference, not even uttering a word about this ‘mini’.
