
A mailer sent out by Apple to promote the Apple iPad, took.a different tact than Microsoft's recent ad for the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Microsoft has promoted its tablet as being one that could replace a laptop. Apple decided to call its iPad a portable solution backed by powerful apps "that take advantage of the things only iPad can do."
