Bottom-of-the-line, 6.1'' Sony phablet spotted on GFXBench

According to a new GFXBench device sighting, Sony seems to be prepping a new entry-level Xperia phablet (D2203), and we now have a clue as to the type of hardware it will pack.


Starting off with the highlight of the device -- its giant, 6.1-inch display -- you better hold onto your chair: it's got a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. That's about 160 pixels per inch, far below the sanitary minimum in this day and age. The rest of the unearthed specs include a Snapdragon 400 chip with four Cortex-A7 cores and an Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, and just 4GB of built-in storage. The situation ...
