First Android One devices coming in India not in October, but this September

Apart from teasing us with the next installment of Android, Google also expressed its desire to expand to the “next 5 billion users” by employing the Android One project, which also got revealed at Google I/O 2014. The purpose of the Android One initiative is to aid certain smartphone manufacturers in creating affordable, entry-level Android devices that provide users with the full Google experience. However, some sources claim that the manufacturers will be able to preload some of their own apps on the Android One handsets.
