Samsung will showcase - and maybe launch - its first Nook tablet(s) on August 20

Back in June, Samsung and Barnes & Noble announced that they’d release co-branded Nook tablets this August. The companies haven’t launched any slates yet, but they’re now inviting the press to an event that will take place on August 20 in New York, at the Barnes & Noble store in Union Square.



According to CNET, Samsung will showcase the first Galaxy Tab 4 Nook (pictured in this article) at the event, though it’s not clear if this is going to be available to buy immediately after that. As we told you in June, the tablet seems to be based on the already available Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, ...
