Sony Xperia M2 is updated to Android 4.4.2

On Friday, the Sony Xperia M2 started to receive its update to Android 4.4.2. The single SIM version of the mid-ranger, in both LTE (D2303) and HSPA+ (D2305) flavors, is being updated to firmware versions 18.3.C.0.37 and 18.3.A.0.31 respectively. The update includes a new home launcher, new themes, new Sony Media apps and the new Quick Settings feature. The Sony social camera app receives the Portrait ReTouch capability, and there is a new boot-up animation.



The Sony Xperia M2 features a 4.8 inch display with resolution of 540 x 960 (qHD), which works out to a pixel density of 229ppi. A ...
