
DigiTimes reported that Pegatron, one of Apple's chief Eastern partners, has risen to the challenge of handling a whopping 50% of Apple's 4.7-inch iPhone 6 orders for 2014, which could be as high as 50 million devices shipping this fall and winter. The rest of the 50 million order will be confided to long-time Apple partner Foxconn. The manufacturing giant has already hired as much as 100,000 new workers to meet the humongous production quota of the iPhone 6, and there are rumors that human workers will be aided by as many as 10 000 "Foxbots" who are in their final testing stages.
