A rumor, coming from France, has Apple launching the Apple Watch on February 14th, which of course is Valentine's Day. Timing the release of its long-awaited smartwatch for that date confirms the degree to which Apple is considering its timepiece to be a fashion item. Apple even placed the device on display during Fashion Week in Paris.According to the same rumor, Apple will price the Watch Edition of the device at a steep $5000.
