Lenovo to launch a larger yet thinner variant of its Vibe X2 smartphone

Back in September, Lenovo introduced the Vibe X2 as the world’s first multi-layered metal-made smartphone. The handset was released in select markets not long after that, and now it looks like Lenovo is getting ready to introduce a larger version of it.



The new Vibe X2 was approved by China’s Telecommunications Equipment Center, which means it might be launched in China soon. While the original handset sports a 5-inch 1080p display, the new X2 comes with a larger, 5.3-inch screen - though the 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution hasn’t changed.
