Last year, Verizon offered its own tablet branded the Ellipsis 7. The 7-inch slate is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU and includes 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native storage. As we told you back in August, Verizon has contracted with Taiwan manufacturer Quanta to produce an 8-inch version of the Ellipsis tablet.The nation's largest carrier is apparently on the cusp of releasing the device.
