Xiaomi introduced the Redmi 1S in the first half of this year as a semi-international variant of its China-only Hongmi smartphone. Both variants were, and still are hot sellers, and it looks like Xiaomi may now have a successor to them.An unannounced Xiaomi handset was just approved by China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center. While its name hasn’t been revealed, the device definitely resembles the Redmi 1S, but there are a few differences: the capacitive keys have been redesigned, while the LED flash and the speaker grill on the back are positioned differently.
