Omate has unveiled a pair of smartwatches. Both wearables are driven by the MediaTek MT2502 "Astor" chip, and run on proprietary software. One model, called the Racer, can be pre-ordered starting tomorrow for $99. That price is good until January 15th, at which time the price will be hiked to $129. Shipments of the watch are expected to start some time next month.
