Support for Windows Phone 7.8 now runs to October 14th

Originally, Microsoft's support for Windows Phone 7.8 was supposed to come to an end on September 9th. But the software giant has extended its support for the mobile OS build to October 14. And just in case you think that no one in the world is using this variant of Windows Phone, you might be surprised to know that 19.2% of Windows Phone users are still running the 7.8 version of the OS.



After October 14th, those using Windows Phone 7.8 will not receive any updates or new features for their phones. This is nature's way of saying, "Hey buddy, you're due for an upgrade!"
